RANTHAMBORE NATIONAL.PARK TIGER SAFARI

Ranthambore National Park is one of the biggest and most popular parks of India.
The park is located at Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan , India with a distance of approximately 14 km.  If planning to travel from Jaipur the distance is approximately 130 km by road. Nearest airport is Jaipur and are regular flights from Delhi and Mumbai
Nearest train station is Sawai Madhopur and has regular trains from across india.
Ranthambore is known for its wildlife and was once the hunting place of Maharajas of Rajasthan.  
Today Ranthambore National Park 
attracts many tourists from all over the world. The main attraction is the sight of the magnificent Bengal Tiger and  enjoy Safari around the Park. 
It is very obvious to get fascinated by how the animal behave and operate in their habitat . One such moment is when you get the sight of wild cat with face to face. Sole intention to sight Bengal tiger in its natural habitat is what the visitors look forward when at Ranthambore Park.
Tiger is the main attraction we all know but the park has other wild animals, chital, sambhar deer, the blue bull antelope or nilgai and more  reptiles and different species of birds. 
The Rantbambore National Park with wildlife forest flora and fauna , oldest mountain ranges - the Aravallis and Vindyas - capture tiger and birds which makes an interesting spot for wildlife photography.
The timings of safari differs during summer and winters due to the change of sun rise and sun set . The safari can be done during mornings or evenings. There are two options for safari Gypsy Safari is a 6 seater Gypsy car and Canter Safari 20  seater which is a open bus. Zone 3 considered as a tiger sight as it has three lakes Padam lake Rajbag lake and Malik lake which are favourable  habitat for tigers .
Make sure you check the timings or the best option would be book a safari package with hotel accommodations in advance to avoid waiting . Ranthambore National Park is
Open from October to June for visitors. 
The 2 days trip is good depending on your itinary.
If you have concern about the safety so yes it's safe to have safari as long as you follow the instructions by the safari guide and stay inside the vehicle.

COST
 The costs of safari in a sharing jeep will cost around Indian Rs 3500 per person per safari.
 Each safari takes around 3 hrs time.
Cost of sharing canter is aprox 2000 per person per safari.

ACCOMMODATION 
Hotel Accommodatio in Ranthambore  will cost you Indian Rs 3000 to 1 lac per room per night( depending on your budget and requirement).
Other options are Nahargarh or Taj Sawai m
Madhopur lodge.
If you wish to have more adventurous  moment and feel the forest.
Castle Jhoomar Baori by RTDC is perhaps the only property in Ranthambore that is located in the middle of a forest.
